The 2015 NFL Draft is April 3oth- May 2nd in Chicago at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. Fans, experts and executives alike are all trying to figure out which prospect will go to which team. Heck, it is even hard to figure out which top prospect will show up in this year’s green room. The two top quarterback prospects appear to be skipping the event to stay at home with family this year.
But first we must figure out which prospects project to be the best of their class at their positions, which players profiles translates the best to the NFL, and which are destined to practice squad greatness.
There are hundreds of players at a multitude of positions to navigate through. Scouts and coaches have begun to project which players will best fit their scheme or system. They have looked at the numbers, looked at the intangibles, and even considered off the field activity. We don’t know what is going on behind closed doors but for now, we can look at what might come.
Is Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston the best quarterback prospect? The top running back must be Melvin Gordon, or is it Todd Gurley? Does Kevin White or Amari Cooper sit atop the wide receivers? Who are the can’t miss defensive prospects? Is it Vic Beasley, Shane Ray, Randy Gregory, Marcus Peters, Landon Collins or someone else altogether?
