After another dismal season for the JETS finishing 6-10 what would naturally be expected after this poor finish? The move to clean house from top to bottom, would be a move for a franchise trying to find a true change of direction. This was demonstrated when Jets owner immediately fired their General manager Mike Tannenbaum, then the rumors swirled that the Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano was fired, which has not yet been determined or announced publicly. The next step in cleaning house would be to fire the Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan…right? As of now it appears that the Jets are holding on to their head coach for some unknown reason, that any sane fan could not justify. One thing’s for sure Rex Ryan was not available for the end of the season press conference Tuesday.
The mystery only deepens of what’s exactly going on with the Jets organization. I’m not surprised at the uncertainty throughout the organization because this is how it’s been all season long, one blunder after another. If the Jets organization is truly going to clean house and have a real run for the Super Bowl the organization has to fire Rex Ryan and get someone in who can not only win games but change the culture. The Gang Green has truly taken over and not in a good way.
