Thunder 116, Lakers 101
The OKC Thunder rolled past the Lakers at the Staples Center. The Lakers were without key players Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol for consecutive games, both players are out with injuries. Kevin Durant lead all scorers with 41 points, Russel Westbrook added 27 points, and Kevin Martin finished with 15 points. The Lakers- Bryant scored 28 points and Antawn Jamison added 19 points, unfortunately the Lakers defensive collapses and the Thunder high scoring front lined proved too much as the Lakers fall resulting in the teams 6th straight loss. The Thunder and the LA Clippers are now tied with the best record in the western conference, both teams stand at 28-8.
Bulls 108, Knicks 101
The Bulls walked into Madison Square Garden and controlled the tempo while defensively holding the Knicks to a low scoring half. The Bulls lead by more than 20 points at one instance during the 3rd quarter but Melo tried to pull his team back to within striking distance in the 4th quarter, bringing his team to within 5 points with less than two minutes left in regulation. Melos effort were to little too late as the Bulls close the deal. Anthony scored a game high 38 points while Loul Deng finished with 33 points to lead the bulls to a victory on the road.
