Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Ben Buchanan – Ariza is one of the most underrated players in the league. He was crucial to Houston last year and doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Ariza played all 82 games while many Rockets went down with injury. He averaged 12.8 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 2 SPG and 2.8 APG. Ariza was huge for Houston in the playoffs he brought tons of defense, hustle and heart to the squad. Ariza will continue to play a large role for the Rockets as they try to make a deep playoff run in 2015.
Jr. Williams – Trevor Ariza has been a prime-time defender in the NBA for quite some time, and the Houston Rockets wouldn’t be the same without him disrupting the opponent’s offense, diving for loose balls, and knocking down the open three-pointer. Ariza ranked No.7 among all players in steals last season and only one of five SF’s to rank among the top-20 in the same category. Ariza is an 11 year veteran who comes alive during the postseason where he consistently makes his impact felt on both ends of the floor- not bad for a player drafted 2nd round 43rd overall.
