Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Ben Buchanan – Kobe ranked No.6 on my list. Why so low? Don’t be surprised. Kobe has of course been a tremendous player throughout his whole career, but his career has gone downhill the past couple of years. Kobe is coming off three consecutive season ending surgeries which is never good, and he just simply hasn’t been as good of a player as he used to.
Sauping R. Arguello – Bryant is back, again, after suffering three season-ending injuries (achilles, knee, shoulder). He has yet to confirm this will be his final season but can the “Black Mamba” stay healthy and lead a young Lakers team into the playoffs? Stay tuned.
Jr. Williams – Kobe has been bogged down by injuries the last few seasons, however, people should realize the fact that we’re talking about a player who has a ton of miles logged — 19 years to be exact. Even after all the injury issues Kobe remains a lethal scorer and solid defender. The 5-time NBA champ surpassed Michael Jordan to rank No.3 on the NBA All-time scorers list. Will he survive beyond 35 games this season? The verdict remains open, but can we agree that he plays at MVP level when healthy?
