Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Jr. Williams – With only two seasons under his belt as an NBA professional Oladipo continues to prove why he was selected No.2 overall in the 2013 NBA Draft. Offensively, he’s one of the most explosive players in the Eastern Conference and defensively underrated. Oladipo’s field goal percentage continues to improve, however, his ball protection could use some adjusting (3.0 turnovers per game).
Ben Buchanan – Oladipo is one of the brightest personalities in the NBA, the Dunk Contest participant came out singing Frank Sinatra in one of his dunks. Not only is Victor a good singer, but he’s also a great basketball player. In the 2014-2015 season, Oladipo averaged nearly 18 PPG for Orlando in his coming out year.
Oladipo is only 23 and is still a project, but he’s shown a ton of potential and skill to this point. He is a very good fit with the young Orlando core of Elfrid Payton, Tobias Harris, Nikola Vucevic, and Aaron Gordon. The one knock on Oladipo would be he’s not a tremendous 3-point shooter. He only shot 33 percent from three-point line last year, but if he can develop his shot, the NBA better watch out.
Sauping R. Arguello – Oladipo is a combo- guard without a real defined position. His outside shot needs much improvement but he can get to the basket with ease.
