Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Jr. Williams – Highly underrated and under-appreciated by the Detroit Pistons during his tenure with the team, Middleton is a proven scorer who can put numbers on the board, simple as that. Middleton rivaled teammate O.J. Mayo for the No.20 spot but won the spot due to his upside, slightly higher shooting percentage, and effectiveness from the three-point range.
Ben Buchanan – Middleton was a breakout player with the Bucks last season. At 23, he was rewarded for his high level of play when he got a large contract from the Milwaukee Bucks. Middleton has tons of potential, especially on the defensive side of the ball, and he possesses crazy length and can guard almost any position on the floor, somewhat similar to teammate Giannis Antentokoumpo.
Summary
Middleton's ball protection and durability rating helped to lift him to the No.20 position where he edged teammate O.J. Mayo by a few points. Gut Feeling Rating Score (GFR) = 6.4, Efficient SG
