Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Jr. Williams – I’m not surprised that Redick made the list of the top-20 shooting guards this season as he’s been a proven scorer throughout his entire career in the league. Despite being a 3rd or 4th scoring option for the Clippers, he always finds a way to contribute offensively. He can score anywhere on the court, and one of the best off the ball shooters when it comes to creating space. Defensively Redick is underrated but continues to be a huge asset, and during the 2015 NBA Playoffs he paid huge dividends for the Clippers by averaging 14 ppg while shooting better than .435 from the field .
Sauping R. Arguello – Redick provides a good compliment to CP3 as he spaces the floor with his shooting. He has developed his game becoming a more all-around player.
Ben Buchanan – Redick has one job with the Clippers — shoot. Redick is almost the perfect fit with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and company despite each of player demanding the ball at high volumes, but Redick doesn’t. He almost generates all of his shots from the catch and shoot method. Redick is an elite shooter and knows his role and fills it extremely well. He averaged 16.4 PPG to go along with 43.7 percent 3P in the 2014-2015 season.
Highly durable player and well balanced in all categories. Redick joins the top-20 for the first time, but he could battle for minutes with Jamal Crawford.
