Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Keith Rivas – We all thought that Damian Lillard’s “big moment” would be the second half of last year’s regular season. Turns out that wasn’t the case and, despite proving that he’s more than motivated to get Rip City back into title contention, the rest of his starting five departed.
Including an important piece to Portland’s puzzle in LaMarcus Aldridge. With Lillard now set to have to right the ship all on his own, he’s ready to prove the world wrong — with his 5-year / $120 million contract doing the talking behind him.
Steve Turner – Damian Lillard has been taking the league by storm. He’s an extremely gifted shooter and is only improving on his game. His determination and dedication is going to really help Portland in the future and I believe he is the beginning of their rebuilding process.
He’s a excellent piece for that too. Lillard is still young and we’re going to be seeing a lot of greatness in this guy’s future.
Sauping R. Arguello – Lillard is another extremely talented offensive machine. His shooting is right up there with Curry and Irving. He can also finish at the rim. All eyes will now be on him now that LaMarcus Aldridge is a Spur. It will be interesting to see if he can single handedly carry the Blazers to the playoffs.
Lillard scored above a 7.5 in at least five categories, unfortunately, ball control played a huge role in him reaching a 8.0 GFR. This season should be an interesting year for Lillard as most of the offensive pressure rest on his shoulders.
