Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Ben Buchanan – When Jrue Holiday is healthy, he’s a true force. But that’s the issue, he struggles to stay healthy. In 2014 he played in just 40 games, while 2013 was worse, as he played in only 34. He’s very good defensively and is a good handler for a Anthony Davis run offense. When he’s healthy he’s a 15/7/3 guy. And arguably the best part — at 25 he’s still got tons of time to progress.
Sauping R. Arguello – Holiday practically disappeared last few seasons due to injuries. He has the potential to revive his career with an up and coming New Orleans team.
Jr. Williams – Not sure I would have ranked him above Eric Bledsoe, but I can see how he got the nod at No.16 due to his abilities as a proven scorer and passer. Holiday suffered with injuries through the last two seasons in the NBA. He’s one of the better defensive point guards, however, his inability to protect the ball and overall durability should be something to pay close attention to in 2015-16. Question is — Will he improve in those key areas?
