Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Sau A – His play has been declining every year as he once was one of the top point guards in the NBA. Injuries have derailed his career but if healthy he still has all the talent to compete with the best.
Jr. Williams – He hasn’t been the same player since departing the Utah Jazz. Offensively Williams has proven he has the ability to score, yet his inconsistent play over the years continue to beg the question as to why he was ever mentioned as one of the best point guards in the league.
Ben Buchanan – Williams is far past his prime after his bust of a tenure in Brooklyn. Williams is a still a decent player though, nothing close to a superstar though. Williams’ role in Dallas should be far reduced from his original Brooklyn expectations. He should primarily be a pick n’ roll handler looking for shooting wings (Parsons, Matthews) or even the shooting big Dirk Nowitzki.
Williams should be a good fit in Dallas, but isn’t half the player he once was.
