After heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury challenged UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, Michael Bisping took to Twitter to fire back at him. “Everyone just ignore that excuse of a man, Tyson something. He’s trying to get hype, I’d never heard of him till he called out Cain.” Then Bisping told the UK Mirror that he supports all British athletes, but Fury is living in a fantasy world. “I always support British athletes of all sports, including Tyson Fury. I think he’s a great boxer. However, if he’s calling out UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez then quite frankly he’s living in a fantasy world and needs to come back to reality. He would be absolutely destroyed in a matchup against Cain. Cain’s a UFC champion and Fury wouldn’t stand a chance.” As you can imagine, that didn’t sit well with Fury, and he took to Twitter himself to fire back at Bisping. “I hear I’d get killed by Velasquez. Not in a million years! think Michael Bisping is a first class prick! Him and Velasquez at the same time couldn’t beat me! My friend KO’d Bisping. Ask him…You are a wanker who is sh*t at fighting, ask anyone.” Bisping may be both of those things, but he’s absolutely right when he says Velasquez would destroy him. It really wouldn’t be close. Sure, in a pure boxing match Fury would probably win. But he didn’t say that. He said he would take Cain out in the cage, which would not happen. As for Bisping being KO’ed by Fury’s friend, I don’t know. If Bisping brought his friend in for training, then they were strictly boxing and maybe the friend got the better of Bisping. No way they were training full-on MMA, or Bisping would’ve wrecked his friend.
