Welcome to Part 3 of my 2013 MLB forecast. I just finished forecasting the National League West and now it is time to move on and I present my 2013 predictions for the National League Central.
Wow, what a peak and valley division. It is hard to believe there can be a team 42 games behind first place at the end of a season but my hat is off to the Houston Astros, they figured out how to pull it off. At the end of 2012, the upstart Reds looked like a team that could be reckoned with for a while to come and the Pittsburgh Pirates were having a nice season until a late-year collapse that had them under .500 (which I didn’t thiink was possible if you asked me at the All-Star break). Let dive in and evaluate these teams.
