Welcome to Part 7 of my 2013 MLB forecast. I finished forecasting the National League East, National League Central and the National League West. I also broke down the logical finish in the American League Central and American League West.
Now it is time to move on and I present my 2013 predictions for the American League East. 2012 was surely a crazy year for the American League East. Many of the teams in the division had turmoil to work through on and off the field. Perennial A-Rod drama in NY and Buck and the Red Sox feuding in Boston are just a couple to mention. Baltimore stepped up with the big boys and showed they belonged battling NY until the bitter end for the division title. Boston was picked as a favorite to get to the World Series and laid the proverbial egg (injuries didn’t help). Tampa was Tampa and Toronto just didn’t have it in them in 2012.
In 2013 the Yankees are a year older, Boston has basically revamped their roster, Tampa Bay traded away a few key players, Baltimore made some changes and Toronto was one of the most active players in the Hot Stove season. What does all the posturing and change mean for one of the best divisions in baseball?Let’s take a look.
