Earlier this year we introduced our very own Madden NFL 14/25 Cover Vote Series featuring a list of the top players in the NFL. Thousands of fans voted and our poll represented the voices of the Madden Nation. Our top vote leader (NFL RB Adrian Peterson) proved the accuracy of our poll in comparison to the official Madden NFL 14 Cover Vote with Peterson leading all players in votes here on our site. Adrian Peterson also led all active players in the official voting poll presented by Sports Nation, unfortunately he lost in the final round of voting to NFL great Barry Sanders.
The time has finally arrived for us to deliver the 3rd installment in our cover vote series with the WWE 2K14 Cover Vote. Vote now for the wrestler who deserved to be on the cover.
6. Rey Mysterio:
The perfect embodiment of the WWE’s ultimate underdog. Mysterio is a former WWE Champion, a two-time World Heavyweight Champion and a four-time Tag Team Champion. He is most known for his high-flying wrestling style that leaves fans in awe of his death defying stunts and spectacular aerial maneuvers. Mysterio has not only given his time but also his body to the company he loves and that will forever solidify him as a top superstar deserving of the companies highest honors.
5. Zack Ryder:
Ryder has virtually more charisma and charm than John Cena and Chris Jericho put together and he still doesn’t get enough time on Raw or SmackDown. The man even had WWE fans chanting his name in arenas that he wasn’t scheduled to compete in. Ryder’s catchphrases and signature “Broski Boot” may not make him the greatest wrestler of all time, however it does make him one of WWE’s most marketable superstars in the business today. Creator of his own YouTube series,”Z, The true Long Island story,” he is truly a man of many talents and a man deserving of many rewards. Woo, woo, woo, you know it!
4. Justin Gabriel:
You can’t honestly tell me you wouldn’t want to see The “Cape Town Darewolf” doing a “450 splash” on the cover of the WWE 2K14 video game. Justin Gabriel is one of the few guys in the WWE today that actually deserves to be a top superstar, not just marketed and forced on the audience like most superstars are today. With two tag team titles reigns to his credit and countless shows stolen with his high octane move set, Gabriel has more talent than the WWE knows what to do with.
3. Daniel Bryan:
By far one of the best wrestlers to enter the WWE since John Cena debuted back in 2002. Bryan is one of those guys that could wrestle against anyone in the company and make it a main event level match. Bryan has held the tag team titles, the United States title, and even the World Heavyweight title. He is also the 2011 Money in the Bank contract winner for SmackDown. With all these accolades to his credit and many more World Titles to come, there is absolutely no reason why Daniel Bryan shouldn’t be featured on a video game cover. His long beard is just meant to be on the cover of something! Even if it’s the cover of some magazine called “Weird Beards Weekly.”
2. AJ Lee:
This woman is undeniably the most controversial diva to come into the WWE in many years. Lee is currently the Divas Champion and the girlfriend of former World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler. She is most known as being arm candy for the likes of John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and even former WWE Champion CM Punk. Although Lee is a very stunningly beautiful woman, her ringside antics and lack of mental stability make her the most watched diva and maybe even superstar in the WWE today. The big question is, whose heart will she break next?
1. Ryback:
WWe used this man as a momentum builder since his return to the ring in 2012. We used this man to put over the likes of CM Punk, The Shield, and John Cena. WWe has even put him in squash matches just to fill time in-between segments. Why can’t they use this man as the face of the WWE? He has one of the best heel personas in the business today and he executes moves that leave fans cheering and chanting, “Feed me more.” Ryback deserves a lot from the WWE and being the cover guy of their new video game would be a great start along with some ice cream bars with his face on them!
