The New York Knicks have waived Metta World peace as he lasted less than a season with the organization. Metta World Peace joined the Knicks last summer as the team hoped he would provide depth at the small forward position, unfortunately he could not find a way to fit into a Mike Woodson system which consists of Carmelo Anthony being responsible for a bulk of the offense.
Im Grateful. Thanks to everyone for your support .

“We are disappointed that it did not work out for Beno and Metta here in New York,” Knicks general manager Steve Mills said. “We thank them for their contributions this season and wish them well.”
Metta World Peace can sign with any team while the Knicks will look add depth at the guard and quite possibly the power forward position.
