Award winning filmmaker and lifelong New York Knicks fan Spike Lee will host his very on show on SirisXM NBA radio in less than a week. Lee will discuss NBA topics from around the league while we should expect a ton of Knick bashing due to their lackluster play and poor winning record.
Lee has been a Knicks courtside attendee for more than 20 years, his most famous exchanges of trash talk occurred between him and former NBA player Reggie Miller during the 1994 NBA Eastern Conference Finals where Reggie Miller scored 25 points in the 4th quarter which helped lead the Pacers to a 3-2 lead in the playoff series. The Knicks went on to win the next two games and the series en-route to the NBA finals.
Lee is also known for writing and directing widely known basketball film “He Got Game” , which starred two-time NBA champion Ray Allen. Allen portray a talented basketball player by the name of Jesus Shuttlesworth, a name that followed him throughout his professional career.
Spike Lee has an extensive knowledge of the NBA and I’m sure his show will be very interesting.
According to the NBA official site,
“Spike Lee’s Best Seat in the House” debuts Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. EST on Channel 217 and will air every other week, featuring guests from both the sports and entertainment worlds.
