Sunday night the Philadelphia Eagles intercepted Kyle Orton late to seal a 24-22 victory and catapulting the boys from Pennsylvania to the playoffs. The Eagles benefited from two touchdowns and 263 from starter Nick Foles and 130 yards with a receiving score from running back LeSean McCoy. Yet again the Cowboys will come up empty handed and Jerry Jones will make excuses and poor decisions this offseason.
Chip Kelly’s system was not supposed to work in the NFL, heck it was not supposed to hold up for 16 games. Well they are in and a lot of thanks should go to Kelly and Nick Foles who was not the starter at the beginning of the season but finished 2013 with 25 touchdowns, two picks and a rating of 118.8. Foles also rushed for 226 yards and three score begging the question: What is Michael Vick’s future in Philadelphia? The Eagles will host the 11-5 New Orleans Saints at home next weekend in the first round of the playoffs.
