To say Joba Chamberlain had a poor 2013 would be an understatement. His ERA was almost 5.00 but he was much more effective on the road.. According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports it appears the Tigers are willing to sign Chamberlain based on his upside and numbers away from Yankee stadium. Contract details are not yet known but I would not expect more than a two or three year deal for right-hander. The Tigers might be on to something since Chamberlain’s road ERA last season was 3.54.
