Today the Diamondbacks were part of three team trade with the LA Angels and Chicago White Sox that landed power bat Mark Trumbo in Arizona. Not big on average Trumbo did belt 34 home runs and drove in 100. Now the Diamondbacks are turning to pitching. They prefer to land a pitcher via trade but according to MLBs Steve Gilbert they might be players for a run at Matt Garza. That could be quite the week for the Arizona boys if they can pull it off.
If #Dbacks decide there is not a match right now for a trade for a pitcher they could make a run at free agent RHP Matt Garza.

Not to be forgotten, the Los Angeles Angels are focusing on Matt Garza as well according to ESPN’s Jim Bowden. A starting pitcher is the Angels top priority this offseason and Garza would be the best available. They better not be after hitting after all the Hamilton and Pujols money they spent.
