Arsenal are in desperate need of a central midfielder. They have been linked with a move to sign James McCarthy of Everton and Morgan Schneiderlin of Southampton. But both the players are unrealistic targets in January.
On the other hand, Maxime Gonalons has been a long term target for Arsenal. This will be the perfect situation for them to step up their interest and sign the player.
Troy Deeney: Paul Lambert’s men are one of the divisions low goal scorers. They should sign a striker to change this. Troy Deeney of Watford fits the bill. He has been linked with a move to Premier League for some time now. Paul Lambert will have to move quickly if they want to get him.
Dwight Gayle: The thing about Burnley is that they have a group of players who is ready to give everything they have on the pitch. Bringing an outsider and trying to fit them in will not be an easy task for Sean Dyche. With Danny Ings future on the air, bring in Gayle makes perfect sense. He has Premier League experience and will be keen to prove Crystal Palace wrong. He is reportedly unsettled at the club so he must be available for a knockdown fee.
No one: Chelsea has a perfectly balanced happy set of players. Bringing in any new players is not going help their team spirit.
Gregor Balazic: Main reason of Crystal Palace’s this season is their leaky defense. This should be the first area where new manager Alan Pardew should address. The Slovenian international Gregor Balazic can solve their problems. He is a free agent now. The 6’ 3” man definitely has the physical presence to meet Premier League’s demands.
Peter Cech: Roberto Martinez men have one of the leakiest defenses in the league. The bad form of their goalkeepers doesn’t help them either. Tim Howard who had a fine World Cup has been in the shadow since the start of the season. His deputy Joel Robles is not convincing either. They should turn to Chelsea legend Peter Cech to help this situation. Peter Cech is now a second choice at Chelsea. He will be keen to move away from them. With his contract set to end in the summer, he will be available for a knockdown fee. The only stumbling block will be the wage requirements. If Everton can find a way to solve this, he will improve them drastically.
Yaya Sango: Hull City strikers are struggling to score goals. A young Yaya Sanogo who is keen to prove himself will be ideal solution for their problem.
Vedran Corluka: Leicester has already signed Andrej Kramaric, who will give them much needed boost upfront, given he successfully gets his work permit. Now they need to address their problems in defense. The former Tottenham and Manchester City right back, 28 year old Vedran Corluka can offer them further options at back.
Liverpool lack options upfront. Tottenham Hotspurs Legend and former England international Jermaine Defoe is a proven goal scorer. A fee of £3m would not be a problem for Liverpool. But his salary might be. If Liverpool can find a solution, he will score a plenty of goals for them.
No one: Much like Chelsea, Manchester City also has a balanced side. They don’t need any new addition to their squad.
Ron Vlaar: Ron Vlaar has proved himself in the world cup. He can solve Manchester United’s problems at back.
Brad Freidel or Mark Schwarzer: What Newcastle urgently need is a goal keeper. They don’t have to spend millions on this position as they have one the best goalkeeper in the league. A short term deal for any of this veteran will be ideal for the club and the player.
Queens Park Rangers
Younes Kaboul: QPR needs someone to solve their defensive problems. Harry should return to his old club to sign the defender whom he knows inside out.
they also have a nearly perfect squad. They have already added Eljero Elia who will solve the problems they had at wings. Signing Wesley Sneijder will give them a massive psychological boost for the rest of the campaign.
Nathan Redmond: Stoke City is in desperate need of a winger and the young upcoming Nathan Redmond can be their answer.
Robbie Keane: Another team that is desperately in need of a striker. Signing former Tottenham and Liverpool striker will help them to solve their struggles upfront.
Jordan Rhodes: Swansea needs someone who can bring them a plenty of goals like Wilfred Bony did. Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has a prolific record in the lower divisions in England. It may be time for him to test himself in the top flight.
They need a striker who can take off the responsibility of scoring from the shoulder of Harry Kane. Long term Arsenal target Andre-Pierre Gignac can be their answer. He has been in stunning form this season scoring 12 goals in the first half of the campaign.
West Bromwich Albion:
Peter Crouch: With Berahino’s future in the air, West Brom needs someone who can score goals. Stoke City’s former England international Peter Crouch is a player whom Tony Pulis knows inside out.
West Ham United
Nicolas N’Koulou: With Winston Reid set to leave the club, they need a defender. A £5m bid for Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou can solve the crisis.
