The 2012/14 UEFA Champions League resumes Tuesday with the first knockout phase of the tournament- the round of 16.
The Champions League round of 16 draw (which was held on December 16) will be headlined by two matchups: Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich (winners of the last year’s tournament) and Barcelona vs. Manchester City. Another matchup to watch will be Atletico Madrid taking on AC Milan. Other matches will see Olympiakos facing Manchester United in a classic “David vs. Goliath” matchup as well as a homecoming for former Chelsea (and current Galatasary) striker Didier Drogba.
The clubs will face each other over two legs. The first leg takes place on February 18, 19, 25 and 26, with the return fixtures on March 11, 12, 18 and 19. The club with the higher goal aggregate (total goals scored over both matches) advances to the quarterfinals.
