WWE2K14 looks like it will again center on the past superstars of the WWE. The only difference is that this time it seems to be the “Attitude Era” versus the “PG Era.” What is even funnier is the fact that 2K seems to be using the exact same idea they used in WWE’s “Day of Reckoning,” and reselling it to a new and unsuspecting generation of WWE fans. The graphics do look great and the game-play looks pretty smooth, then again PlayStation and Xbox graphics are at best most of the time.
The fans will also get a chance to build a superstar from the bottom ranks of the NXT territory and work their way up to the main card of WrestleMania. The most disappointing fact of the trailer is the fact that some of the moves, mainly Shawn Michael’s “Toss up Super Kick,” seem like a very unrealistic characteristic of the game. In all, the improved graphics and the addition of a superstar mode resembling that of the NBA and Madden 2K sports brands, is a improvement from the game’s predecessors.
