With all the last minute deals, who won and who lost the NBA trade deadline? Did the Heat make themselves contenders? Did the Thunder solidify themselves for a playoff run? Should the Sixers have traded MCW and McDaniels?
Heat – PG Goran Drajic – should help push the tempo for Miami, but without Bosh- this team is in trouble
Suns – PG Brandon Knight, SF Danny Granger — two huge addtions to a team looking for an identity.. Knight will be “the man”
Bucks – PG Micheal Carter Williams – great pick up, but not a better pg than Knight
Pistons – PG Reggie Jackson – should fit in perfectly with the Drummond
Celtics : PG Isaiah Thomas (from Suns) – highly underrated guard, could be their best player.
Trail Blazers – SG Arron Afflalo – excellent scoring option for the Blazers
Nets – PF Thaddius Young – upgrade at the PF position
Wolves – PF Kevin Garnett – Veteran leader to a group of young stars
< Jazz - Kendrick Perkins : He adds nothing to the team offensively but he can defend against the "Bigs" in the league. Kings: PG Andre Miller - on the tail end of his career, not sure what he adds other than veteran experience. Not a big fan of this trade
