It had been reported yesterday that Frank Gore was taking his talents from San Francisco to Philadelphia. But free agency was not official and he was not able to sign yet. Well Gore slept on it and turned his back on Chip Kelly and Crew and instead signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Gore will get an extra $1 million in guaranteed money from the Colts. He will earn $8.5 million guaranteed compared to the $7.5 million he was offered by the Eagles.
Frank Gore is up there in age but will be the starter for the Colts and reside in the backfield patrolled by Andrew Luck. Can Gore, at his age, be productive and provide the answer for the Colts who tried and failed with Trent Richardson? We will see but he did have a string of 100 yard games to end 2014.
Was the Gore signing a smart move by the Colts?
Was Gore pulling out of the Eagles deal bad form or just business?
