C.J. Spiller has agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints on a deal good for four-years,$18 million with $9 million guaranteed.
The Saints already added run blocking stud, Max Unger in the Jimmy Graham trade and have Mark Ingram in the backfield. Spiller will clearly be the change of pace running back.
Going from Buffalo to an offense that believes in space and with Drew Brees as his QB, can Spiller really thrive in his New Orleans role.
You figure he will be good for 15 touches a game (run and pass) this season but that number could climb with production. The loss of Graham and not the trade of Kenny Stills could equate to a prominent role that sees him catch 60-70 balls.
