The Cleveland Browns and Josh McCown have agreed to a deal. This is a head scratcher at face value. The Browns have the rehabbing (not injury related) Johnny Manziel and Connor Shaw already on the roster.
It looks like they will not be resigning Brian Hoyer. So it appears, McCown will be the veteran that molds the young Manziel. We will have to see how that goes.
Then there is the talented but lack of learning Josh Gordon (who knows what this future is), no real running game, and no other wide receiver. Oh and their talented tight-end Jordan Cameron said, in so many words, that he will not resign with Cleveland.
We thought Cleveland was turning for the better but is that real? Is this a franchise destined to be broken?

We shall see. They sure don’t make good QB decisions. Gordon is a thing of the past that will never stay out of trouble. Their defense isn’t too bad, but they need to work on stopping the run. The only thing they have going for them is the run game. Their run game is not as bad as you think. They actually do have talent there, but they have been the focus of all teams going against them. Play Cleveland, play the run, they have no QB to pass with. McCown is a joke. There is a reason he bounces around teams and never performs for any period of time. He has never even performed for one season. Maybe they will find a QB DEEP in the draft. You never know, they might find the next Brady. lol

I see where you are going with the running game. I think West and Crowell are decent and as a tandem they are okay. I not that either one is a stud but like you eluded to, until they find a QB the box will be stacked and it won’t matter much.
Maybe in like the 3rd or 4th round they can grab Hundley from UCLA and try to mold him.
No-matter what it seems like patience must be in play because this thing is not turning around overnight.
Tough to be a Browns fan
