With 26-28 games left between the 2.Toronto Raptors, 3.Chicago Bulls and 4.Cleveland Cavaliers there may not be too much maneuvering going on for the Raptors. Demar DeRozen has returned from injury and they just finished oblitering the number one seed, Atlanta Hawks in a head-to-head matchup, giving them major confidence that they belong in the east’s elite going forward. The Bulls are 3 games behind the Raptors and the Cavs are 3.5 games behind Tor., respectively. There may be movement between the Bulls and the Cavs for the 3 and 4 seeds depending on what team gets in a hot stretch. The Cavs have been playing much better basketball and have seem to have found their identity, although they still need Kevin Love to be comfortable in his new role as a third option. The Bulls must make sure everyone (Rose,Noah) is healthy so they can make a strong push come playoff time. Their defense has not been up to par in large part to Noah missing time and incorporating newly acquired Pau Gasol. Gasol has been playing phenomenal basketball on the offensive side of the ball but he must fill the defensive void until Noah rounds back into form. Rose has shown improving numbers for the month of February and that is a dangerous indication that the rest of the East better be ready if this ball club is running on all cylinders come April-May.
