As I mentioned in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Prediction article I wrote prior the series, this series is headed to a pivotal Game 7 where both teams will face one of the most deciding games of the post season.
I love the politics of the NBA, while I will refrain myself from speaking on the inner workings of the NBA system, lets just say I’m not surprised that this series has managed to stretch its length to seven games.
Which team has all the pressure? Will Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade ever show up in this series? First, let me start off by saying that the Miami Heat will have all the pressure, the good news is the Heat play better at home and have a better chance of winning Game 7. The bad news is if Lebron James scores anything less than 25 points, the Heat will lose this game.
I’ll answer my second question with a yes and a no. Yes, Dwyane Wade will come to play. Throughout his career in the league Wade has played through similar if not more pressure and I expect him to contribute better than he has all season. Part two of that answer is no, Chris Bosh will not be effective next game because he has been outmatched and forced to play more defense than he is accustomed to.
What should you expect in Game 7? All I can tell you is to expect a close game. The referees are going to let both teams battle it out. Foul calls will be minimal and players will be allowed to be a bit more physical than the previous six games. If you want to know my pick as the winner, check out my Eastern Conference Prediction. Its going to be a shocker! See you in South Beach!
