Sports Unbiased Staff G.F.R. Analysis
Jr. Williams – Kevin Martin has been a proven scorer since he entered the league, and has been one of the few bright spots for the Timberwolves over the past two seasons. In only 38 games last season he shot better than .441 from the field and averaged 20 points to lead the team in scoring, unfortunately, injuries kept him from playing a complete season. He handles the ball well and is a player who can create his own shot. The only knock I have against him is his lack of defensive effort.
Sauping R. Arguello – Martin can get hot and put up numbers in bunches. His knock is that he seems to be more focused on statistics than on winning.
Ben Buchanan – Martin is a sharp shooting wing. At 31, Martin is past his prime but he still is a very good scoring threat. Martin averaged 20 ppg in his injury ridden campaign in the 2014-2015 season. He shoots an insane 39.2% from 3, but he’s capable of much more, in 2012 he shot 42.4 percent from 3P, proving if you don’t watch him he’ll certainly make you pay for it.
