Paul Pierce Fined $15,000 for Flagrant Foul

Nets

Paul Pierce was ejected during the fourth quarter of a home game versus the Indiana Pacers after being issued a flagrant 2 foul he committed against Pacers guard, George Hill. Pierce struggled offensively, shooting 0-7 from the field and his frustration appeared to get the best of him as he exited the court after playing 15 minutes without scoring a basket. The NBA fined Pierce $15,000 due to excessive and unnecessary contact on a player. The Brooklyn Nets are 9-18 and continue to struggle due to the recent injury of their star player Brook Lopez.
