A message from Sports Unbiased’s Managing Editor, Rich Stowe

If you’ve been visiting the site on a daily (or hourly basis!), you may have noticed many changes have taken place over the last week here at Sports Unbiased.  We are constantly tweaking our logos, layouts and menus to find the “right mix” so please bear with us during these first few weeks while we figure out the best way to serve you, our readers, the best possible way.

We have been adding new writers and try to get as much new content to you each day.  Right now, we’ve had articles covering things such as “Who Should be on the cover of Madden 14“, previews of the upcoming MLB season, and a discussion of the Redskins playoff game and RG3′s affect on it due to his injury.

You may have noticed some college football articles or MMA Power Ranking articles that were posted over the past week.  These are courtesy of two sites that I’ve worked with in the past – 7 Pound Bag and MMA Spartan.  I’d like to thank R.K. Menn of MMA Spartan and David Snipes and Zach Bigalke of 7 Pound Bag for allowing us to “partner” with them to bring you their fantastic writing – be sure to click the links at the end of those articles to read the full articles on the original sites.

We also have several ideas in the works for series of articles that you should look for in the coming weeks.  One will be called “Writers’ Block” – this is where several questions will be posed to our writers and they will respond.  The topics will range from NFL Playoff Predictions to their favorite sports movies and anything else sports-related we can come up with.

We will also be devoting some coverage to Hampton Roads Sports.  We all live here in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia so we have a unique opportunity for providing some local coverage to the sports here in Hampton Roads.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the content you’ve seen on the site so far, have voted in the polls within the articles and are following us on Facebook.  Hopefully we’ll continue to bring you great content and articles and hopefully the changes we will make to the site in the coming weeks will make your experience better.

Thanks for checking us out!
