Lebron Sits out of Practice
Lebron James did not participate in team practice on Tuesday due a left ankle sprain he incurred during the 3rd quarter versus the Utah Jazz, a game in which Lebron played through most of the 4th quarter. Lebron stated “I’ve had my fair share of ankle twists so I already knew how it was going to be today.” “Very stiff, very sore, it’ll be around the clock treatment and we’ll go from there.”
The Miami Heat’s next game is at home versus the Indiana Pacers, the top team in the eastern conference. With Lebron less than 100 percent healthy, the Heat will certainly have their hands full, yet I expect Lebron will certainly appear in the lineup come tip-off. This game looks to be yet another preview of the 2014 NBA Playoffs but the Miami Heat have downplayed all the hype referring this contest as “just another regular season game.”
Iguodala Returns to the Lineup
Andre Iguodala returned to the lineup on December 17 versus the New Orleans Pelicans, a game in which he contributed 17 minutes of play to help the Warriors defeat the Pelicans 104-93. While Iguodala’s scoring was limited, he has been the Warriors best perimeter defender this season. The Warriors next game is December 19th at home versus the San Antonio Spurs.
