My goal as a writer is to bring you facts and statistics. I write mainly for the NBA and MLB but will provide articles on other sports if compelled to do so. You should always feel free to write your opinions of what is written. Sports were meant to be broken down and discussed which is what makes them so great. All facts provided have been researched thoroughly to be as accurate as possible. Enjoy!

The NBA season is a week old, which makes it time to state some bold predictions. Keep in mind, what I list below are extreme bold predictions. Meaning that while I believe they are plausible, it does not necessarily mean you should run to Vegas and place your life savings on them. Readers may argue that these predictions are too absurd to fathom. However, from what I have viewed, they are worth mentioning and certainly should not be overlooked. If you are like me, you have at least had a chance to watch every team play and have had the opportunity to create your own opinion of them. Teams like the Brooklyn Nets have been a mystery...

Michael Jordan stated Friday that "in no way would the Bobcats tank the season." He finished by claiming that "there are no guarantees in any draft pick." Seems to be strong words about a team that has only appeared in the playoffs once since the beginning of the franchise. Many teams have made moves indicating they are looking forward to the highly anticipated 2014 NBA Draft. This offseason, the 76ers practically cleared house and made trades to pick up draft picks and young stars. While many think this was a smart move, Charlotte has made it clear that this is not their strategy. The 2014 draft is regarded as the best draft since...

Tar Heel nation has nothing to worry about, this season will be fine. There have been a lot of questions surrounding how North Carolina will respond to a few off-season issues. After losing Bullock to the NBA, failing to sign Wiggins, and P.J. Hairston’s legal dilemma, sports analysts have questioned the future of this promising squad. Many have written them off and many have predicted a disappointing year. However, I am not convinced that these issues will be a problem entering into the 2013-2014 season. Are the Tar Heels for real? There is no doubt that the Tar Heels have what it takes to be great. They are...

There is no doubt that the Miami Heat are a talented team. They have proven that fact over the past two seasons. While the easiest pick to win this season is Miami, there are a few things to note before handing them the crown (again). They Didn't Improve This Offseason We kept waiting for a big move to happen. Waiting for Miami to attempt to improve their already ridiculous lineup. But it never seemed to occur. Two years ago, the Heat signed Shane Battier and last offseason it was the addition of Ray Allen. Both game changing players and both played big roles in winning back to back championships. It seems to be a common pattern...

I had some fantasy reflection time this past weekend. I was one of many owners who were severely affected by injuries and trades happening in the NFL. My starting running backs consisted of Ray Rice, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Maurice Jones-Drew. Since Bradshaw is no longer listed as the lead back and with injuries occurring to Rice and Jones-Drew, I was desperate for a running back to play. No one was willing to trade so I was forced to start DeAngelo Williams and Jacquizz Rodgers. It was either start them or take a chance with Felix Jones or Isaiah Pead (Yes, my options were that bad). Now the fact that they all had great weeks is the...

Sell High: Eddie Royal – Eddie Royal has had a phenomenal start to the 2013 season. He is the top waiver this week and certainly should be. His five touchdowns on seven targets in two weeks are the best by any receiver. His stock is through the roof, which makes him a perfect candidate to sell high. Right now Royal is the top target for San Diego and it is obvious that Rivers trusts him. It is for these reasons that Royal will have a decent year. However, you are not going to win any fantasy league with Eddie Royal at your WR3 option. That is a fact. You could use him as a possible flex start on a bye week, but that is it. My...

The NBA season is just under six weeks away so let the count down begin! Over the next few weeks, I am going to be breaking down each position in the NBA. These breakdowns will include the top 10 at that position finalized by a list of rookies to look out for. All of my lists have been generated from past performances as well as potential for the upcoming season. Since I am displaying the best centers, I decided to focus on every aspect of the game. This includes statistics, athleticism, potential, and leadership. It is with these attributes that I was able to display the ten names listed below. It is worthy to note that Tim...

First play of the game, Andy Reid calls for a deep route by Dwayne Bowe. Alex Smith delivers a bullet for an easy touchdown and puts six points on the board! It is obvious that this game is more about the coaches than the teams. Andy Reid knows he needs to come out and make a statement in the first quarter so I am predicting some big plays.       Keys to the Game: Philadelphia: The Philadelphia Eagles have already proven that they can score whenever they want. Their high paced offense is only going to get faster and their point totals are potentially astronomical. The question is, can they stop the other...

If you would have asked me last week who would win the Patriots and Jets game, it would have been a quick response – Patriots. They undoubtedly came into the season as the favorites to win their division. However, in week 1, a scrappy Bills team nearly stole a victory away from them. The forever dynasty building Patriots did not look so invincible against a very young Buffalo squad. Under Belichick, the Patriots have always looked crisp and prepared for every contest. Going up against the Bills, they appeared surprised when Buffalo did not roll over and allow them a free pass to a victory. On the other side, the Jets were able to...

Like most basketball fans, I am excited for the upcoming NBA season. There are so many questions surrounding offseason moves that I cannot wait for regular season games to start. This past summer I was sitting on the edge of my seat as I watched the NBA draft. I saw each team strategically pick players based off of their weaknesses from the previous year. As I was watching, I began to think about what the league would look like if every team was forced to keep the players they drafted. I imagined a league where players could not leave a franchise during free agency and trades were considered against the rules. What if every player...
