The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming into this season with a whole new look. Losing their best player and leader Kevin Love is an enormous blow to this team, but the good news is, they've got a lot of young talent. In return for Love, the Wolves acquired Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett-- the number one picks from the previous two NBA drafts. Bennett has worked hard over the offseason to put his mediocre rookie season behind him and should have an improved sophomore campaign. Wiggins, the former Kansas Jayhawk stud, is looking to live up to all the expectations. Coming out of high school, Wiggins was the clear cut best...

The Golden State Warriors may have one of the most talented teams on paper, so why can't they meet the high expectations set forth by the organization? They have advanced no further than the conference semi finals in the past two seasons. The answer might have been that they are too young and had little experience. This is no longer the case, as the Warriors have added depth and experience to their squad with the additions of Shaun Livingston and Leandro Barbosa. Players like Klay Thompson, David Lee, and Andre Iguodala have another year under their belt and could be primed to make a playoff run. Let’s not forget about the best pure...

The Los Angeles Clippers have had the most eventful offseason for sure. The whole Donald Sterling saga and the selling of the team was definitely a big distraction to the players and coaches. New Clippers’ owner, Steve Ballmer, made it very clear that the distractions are over and it is time to win. Ballmer debuted as owner on August 18th and showed energy and excitement right off the bat. This is positive for the organization, especially after hearing that some players refused to play if Sterling was still the owner. Playing without Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and head coach Doc Rivers, would be devastating to this franchise. Luckily...

Out of all the teams in the NBA, there is no team happier then the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the return of LeBron James and the trade for Kevin Love, the Cavs are, not only immediate title contenders, but immediate title favorites. Returning to his home, James joins another big three, this time teaming up with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. Now, it is never good to think that the Cavs will never lose, however this team is as “can't miss” as we've seen in a long time. KEY ADDITIONS: LeBron James (SF), Kevin Love (PF), Shawn Marion (SF) KEY LOSSES: Luol Deng (SF), Jarrett Jack (PG), Spencer Hawes (C) My Starting Five Kyrie...

Finishing with a record of 37-45 last season, the Knicks knew there were some changes that had to be made. The Knicks finished second in the Eastern Conference with a record of 54-28 during the 2012-2013 season, but saw a significant decline in production from players like Raymond Felton, Tyson Chandler and J.R. Smith. Despite a poor record last season, the Knicks only finished a game behind the Hawks for the eighth and final spot in the postseason. With the hiring of new head coach, Derek Fisher, and re-signing Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks and their fans have high hopes for the upcoming season. The team, organization and entire Knicks’...

The MLB MVP race in the National League is starting to heat up. Giancarlo Stanton is putting up big numbers, Troy Tulowitzki is leading the league in batting, and Yasiel Puig is proving he is the real deal. However, the unlikely player who is the favorite for MVP is Dodgers ace, Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw has already proven that he is the best pitcher in the world, it seems like now he is making a push to be the best pitcher of all time. Finishing with the Cy Young award last season, Kershaw ended up 16-9 with a 1.83 ERA. This season, he is on his way to his third Cy Young award in his career. Kershaw is 14-2 this season with a 1.78...

If you watched any NFL football last season, or even turned on ESPN, then you know who Robert Griffin III is. Griffin suffered a torn ACL during the divisional round of the 2012 NFL playoffs against the Seattle Seahawks. The recovery process was long and very nerve wrecking for the fans of Washington. As the 2013 season approached, Griffin made it very clear that he will be playing week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles. It was made clear very early that he had come back too soon. Griffin threw for 3,203 yards while tossing 16 TD’s and 12 interceptions. He finished the season with a 40.1 QBR, finishing 30th in the league in that...

The 2014 NBA draft was a night to remember. From Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, to Julious Randle, this draft featured a great amount of young studs with unlimited potential who are ready to make the big leap from college to the pros. The question on all of our minds is, which talented, young player will have the best rookie season? The clear cut answer is either Wiggins or Parker, right? Wrong. Chicago Bulls forward, Doug McDermott is primed to have the best rookie season. McDermott was taken with the 11th overall pick by the Denver Nuggets but was sent over to Chicago shortly after. McDermott is coming into the season with the most...
